Hiring Area
Our target hiring area covers four states. If you’re based out of one of these states, we could have an opportunity for you. But, we’ve expanded our hiring areas to include other states so keep reading!
Illinois & Indiana
Our terminal in Rensselaer, IN is ideally situated close to the border with Indiana. That means residents of both states can easily commute to this location.
Nebraska
Our headquarters and main terminal are based out of Grand Island, NE. Naturally, residents of the Cornhusker State can easily commute to this location.
Iowa
Residents of Iowa can choose to commute to either of our terminals. Depending on where you live in Iowa, either location might be suitable.
Other Locations
If you’re a little way outside our target hiring area but you’re interested in working with us, get in touch. We’re always happy to hear from licensed truckers. If you’ve got the right skills and attitude, we’ll work with you to find a good opportunity.
Driving Locations
We ship goods to a variety of locations, both in our recruitment areas and beyond. As one of our drivers, you could travel to Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and many more.
Wherever you drive, we guarantee you’ll get home at least once every 14 days, though you’ll often get the chance to head home much more regularly.
With all these different locations, it’s a great opportunity to see the country and get experience driving in all kinds of different areas.
How to Become a Truck Driver With Chief Carriers
It’s simple for truckers to apply to drive with us. We offer a detailed application form on our website, where you can tell us all about your skills and experience.

We hire drivers aged 23 and over, with a good driving record, a minimum of six months OTR experience, and no DUI or DWI convictions in the last five years. While we prefer drivers with flatbed experience, we’re happy to train the right applicants.
