Mandee Lade, Chief Carriers Employee, Nominated for Prestigious National Guard’s Patriot Award!
Mandee Lade is one of our class-leading driver recruiters that has long displayed every trait we look for from a team member of Chief Carriers! She always makes sure to take any time needed to get to know all her drivers extensively and enjoyed her recent extra special connection with Driver Bobby Higgins. He nominated Mandee for the Patriot Award, which any employee serving in the Reserves or National Guard can offer up as a source of ultimate appreciation for anyone they deem as going above and beyond.
Life has been tough for many Americans over the last two years, and scheduling can sometimes be a part of the job where you can “rise up to shine and make a difference” in anyone’s busy life. Mandee is one of our members of staff that always has a bright smile, determination to go above and beyond day-to-day duties and represent Chief’s values in every action.
New recruit Bobby Higgins was excited to begin orientation and training to start his new job driving for Chief Carriers when he double-checked and then realized he had a previous commitment nine hours east in Illinois to serve as an active member of the guard. Bobby was able to complete his written and physical on time, thanks to Mandee’s flexibility and longstanding dedication. Constantly remembering her father who proudly served in the Navy, Mandee has long known that the trucking industry sources from all walks of life, and that it takes a positive flow of logistics and on-time delivery to assure that shelves are filled everywhere, and goods are in stock. So many of America’s daily necessities and commodities are delivered by truck, and we are so thrilled to have such a class-act employee that is engaged daily with employees who serve in the Army Reserves and National Guard. These are the tough-as-steel people that give their weekends up to assure so many can rest safely at night, and make sacrifices to further their education and employability.
